Keep Moving! No Surrender to the Pandemic!

SDS is committed to the all-round development of CityU students, whether it is on or off the campus. In view of the pandemic situation, SDS organised a variety of workshops and training through the online medium for students. Counsellors also strive to continue their service by different means to render emotional support to students in need.

Golden Key Club - Be the Captain Marvel in the Interview

In the haze of the pandemic, the Golden Key Club remains committed to providing a variety of interactive events, enabling students to enrich learning despite the social distancing we are all practising during this period. Among them, “Golden Key Club-Be the Captain Marvel in the Interview: Practice Time!” held on 11 March and 30 March 2020, is an online interview simulation game containing 4 separate sessions of a job interview and a scholarship interview for candidates in groups of five to gain insights from professionals and consultants.

Career Consultation

To be proactive in our career service delivery during this unusual time, Career Leadership Centre (CLC) provides our students with online and real-time individual and group consultation sessions via online medium to meet with our professional Career and Employability Consultants.

In addition to career consultations, CLC also conducted various online training workshops to equip students with necessary employability skills. Sessions include CV and Cover Letter Writing, Interview Skills, Assessment Centres, Professional Images, etc. CLC is striving our best to enhance the employability of our students via the online teaching platform supported by the University.
