In light of the evolving pandemic situation, many non-local students had their plans to return to Hong Kong stalled, thus many of them were unable to tidy up their belongings and complete the check-out procedures. To ease their distress, a voluntary team formed by a group of international students, with the support from Student Residence Office (SRO), along with the assistance of CityU’s International Society (ISOC) and the Chinese Students & Scholars Association (CSSA), helped to pack the belongings and provided storage services for those who have applied for withdrawal from the residence. With their unconditional help, more than 70 residents successfully moved out.
