City University of Hong Kong (CityU) is a dynamic, fast-growing university that is pursuing excellence in research and professional education. The College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences (CVMLS) was launched in spring 2014 in collaboration with College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), Cornell University, New York, United States of America.


Professor Michael I Kotlikoff, Provost of Cornell University (Cornell) and Professor Lorin Warnick, Dean of Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine visited City University of Hong Kong(CityU) on 8 Sep.


A HK$200-million donation from a local entrepreneur to City University of Hong Kong (CityU) will support our College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences (CVMLS), students’ overseas exchanges, endowed Chair Professorships and other strategic developments.


Dr May Tse Pui-ying, who previously worked as a Veterinary Officer (Residues Control) in the government’s Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD), will use a three-year scholarship provided by the College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences (CVMLS) to enrol in a residency programme in veterinary anatomic pathology at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University.
