In the past 20 years, CityU has been promoting the idea of Healthy University. Since 2018, year-round wellness activities have been launched to members in the CityU community.

Exercise is Medicine®

Exercise is Medicine® On Campus (EIM-OC) is a US-based recognition scheme launched by the American College of Sports Medicine that encourages faculties, staff and students to work together towards improving the health and well-being of the campus community. To go further, CityU aims at going for the “EIM-OC Gold Level Campus” Recognition in 2020. “Goal for HealthyU – EIM Gold Campus” Prelude with various wellness activities was held in October 2019, served as a kick-off ceremony to emphasise the joint effort among CityU community, particularly the health care and health fitness professionals, towards the building of “Healthy U” culture in CityU.
